Stericycle Observes Black History Month

At Stericycle, observing Black History Month is an important part of honoring the history and achievements of African Americans. Celebrating the month also reinforces our commitment to fostering a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace for our valued team members. Diversity is a key ingredient for our success, and we are continuously mindful of the ongoing vital contributions of African Americans to Stericycle.

Celebrating Black History Month at Stericycle includes some wonderful events organized by one of our employee resource groups, Blacks Unify for Inclusion, Leadership, and Diversity (BUILD). BUILD’s mission of enhancing the wealth, wellness, and wisdom of African Americans is achieved in a variety of ways, including speaking events, discussion forums, classes, and more. This year’s events include a panel discussion on the topics of allyship, resilience, and race featuring members of BUILD. Additionally, online classes and virtual tours of the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum and Civil Rights Museum are planned.
