Stericycle Set to Acquire Shred-it International

Today, we announce plans to add Shred-it, the global secure document destruction services provider, to the Stericycle family. This acquisition will enable Stericycle to offer an additional compliance solution to our customers.

The addition of Shred-it will significantly enhance the breadth and depth of our portfolio with a new regulatory compliance service that is used and valued by many of our customers. The Shred-it business brings with it a compliance solution focused on secure information destruction.  Shred-it provides service to more than 400,000 global, national and local customer locations, the majority of whom are small customer. Globally, the company operates a fleet of over 2,400 trucks, has more than 200 facilities, and is supported by 5,400 team members.

With the acquisition of Shred-it, we continue to expand the services we can provide our customers with in support of our ongoing mission to help companies protect their brands and safeguard the environment.
