Stericycle and HWM are committed to making this transition as smooth as possible for you while providing the same great service and value you have come to depend on.  Examples of changes you may immediately notice include:

• A new customer number, customer portal, and customer service contact number.
• Changes to service dates and schedules.
• Stericycle or Shred-it logos on your invoices, trucks, containers, and driver uniforms depending on the services you use.

We will begin servicing HWM customers effective March 1, 2022. At that time, you may notice some changes like the Stericycle or Shred-it logo on invoices, trucks, containers, and driver uniforms depending on the services you use. 

Many of HWM’s talented team members across the Midwest are joining Stericycle, so you may continue to have the same driver service your facility. As we work through a smooth transition and optimize efficiencies, it is possible that you will be serviced by a different driver. If you utilize both medical waste and secure information destruction services, you will be serviced by two different drivers.

You can access and pay your invoices, download copies of your shipping papers, and view or change your service pickup on our customer portal(s). For regulated waste and compliance service, visit MyStericycle.com. For shredding services, visit MyShredit.com. As a first-time user, you will need to register with your new customer number(s).

In early April, billing will transition to Stericycle. Your invoice will be on Stericycle or Shred-it letterhead, depending on your services. Once you receive your new customer number(s), you can also access invoices on our customer portals, MyStericycle.com and/or MyShredIt.com. Resources to help you read your invoice can be found in the welcome materials as well as the customer portal(s).

We will continue to use the existing inventory of containers and you may see additional inventory options to better meet your needs. Any changes will be reviewed with you by your driver and local service team.

You will be assigned a new customer number from Stericycle. If HWM was providing both regulated waste and shredding services, you will receive two customer numbers from Stericycle. The number(s) will be provided in a Welcome Email(s) the week of February 21, 2022. Customer Service can look up your customer number(s) as well.

Stericycle and HWM are committed to making this transition as smooth as possible for you. As we work to ensure you receive the same great service you have come to depend on, we may need to adjust your service date and schedule. Any changes will be reviewed with you by your driver and local service team.
