Women In Trucking Association Honors Stericycle for its Commitment to Advancing the Employment of Women In Trucking
BANNOCKBURN, Ill. — December 14, 2021 — Stericycle, Inc. Each year the Women In Trucking Association (WIT) honors leading companies that are focused on attracting and retaining women in the trucking industry and demonstrate a commitment to continually improving their work environments.

The company also implemented five employee resource groups made up of diverse populations that are regularly consulted for perspective, including an active women’s resource group that focuses on development, mentoring and life skills. This is the fourth year of this prestigious recognition program. To win the award, eligible companies are first nominated and then reviewed. A final ballot is then created and voted on by industry professionals. This year, more than 14,000 votes were cast to identify the top companies.
Stericycle has repeatedly been recognized in 2021 for its commitment to workplace leadership. This recognition by the Women In Trucking Association follows Stericycle’s recent gold award from the Brandon Hall Group in the Best Certification category for its SWAT defensive driving certification program.
